With Daniel's weight soaring (He weighs 8.3kg now and looks like a 6 month old), I think we should go out more. Keeping him indoors will just end up feeding him more. Yesterday when I told Terry that I would take Daniel to a playgroup tomorrow, he answered 'He's a bit too young to start playgroup, isn't he? He doesn't play anything yet!'...
It's a crispy sunny day today, The baby group starts 9.30am and is in our local medical center, I tooked a brisk walk to get there instead of driving as we normally do. Terry was quite right, most babes there are older than Daniel, ranging from 7 months to 1 year, they were all crawling around, Daniel didn't do anything apart from lying under a baby gym pulling the dangling objects and watching other babes. It's not that exciting for him. I spent most of time joining those mums discussions of their offspring's' poo, they talked about this in earnest, e.g. what sort of foods produce what sorts of poo as we are all keen stool observers... That's what baby group does...

Daniel looks sooo chubby and cute!
I enjoy Isaac's playgroup, and he finally started to like it after many months.
When Daniel is older (could walk), the playgroup would be the best thing for you two. He can play with other kids and lots of toys while you just relax and enjoy chatting chatting chatting with other moms.
Last week at playgroup, I was so involved in the chat that I forgot I had two little kids to watch. Luckily some other mom was keeping an eye on Isaac and her own boy, and Isabel was asleep in the pram. I realised my responsibility when the other mom told me Isaac went outside.... I didn't see it at all! It's great to forget about them just for a little while - I felt so relaxed, even though it was just several minutes.
well, I can't say I enjoy the playgroup at the moment, not just yet...it depends on who's going there, there were 4 mums yesterday, three are very young (early 20s or less ) only one who looks similar to my age...they are all nice, someone even made me tea twice... in terms of chatting, better not to have much hope(don't forget we are in England), can't believe the conversation will more intersting than a discussion of baby's poo...
Hahaha... I thought brits only talked about the weather! :)
Yes, 'weather' is the ice-breaker in England to start conversation.
