we decided on Chatterbox.
I took Daniel to view another nursery this morning. The viewing just confirmed our first choice. Lunch time I dropped the signed forms together with the required £20 cheque at Chatterbox. Signed up Tue/Wed/Thur (I'll be working on such days) for Daniel's full day care. Also booked the first settle-in session for Daniel on Wendesday afternoon...

Mixed feelings?
You still have 4 consecutive days with Daniel, which is really good. I think all mothers should work part time. With all the housework and kids, full time work is just too much. So far, I'm loving my part time work arrangement. I think you will too.
Pretty numbing feeling at the moment, because Daniel is still fine at the moment.
My boss wouldn't mind which days I work, so I chose to work Tue/Wed/Thur as it will bridge a long weekend, also Mon and Fri are always the worst on traffic. I was also told that all the bank holidays that fall on the days when I am not working will be prorated to my anual leave...
That's ridiculous. I work on Mon, Tues and Fri, and everyone is aware that many public holidays fall on the mondays, but nobody would ever suggest I should take one day annual leave to make up for that.
I think it should be the same as here. otherwise it's not fair to those who work part time on Tue to Thur as they will lost their public holiday entitlement
