We took Daniel to visit Skipton today. Skipton is a small market town on the verge of Yorkshire Dale and it made famous by filming the film Calender Girls there. We got up early today, after spent two hours doing house work and 1.5 hours driving,we still got there about 11am. we went strict to find a cafe in town and had early lunch. After lunch, we went to the castle. This is not the first castle Daniel visited but it is certainly the one he enjoyed most so far, throughout the visiting, he insisted on walking by himself even the steep steps inside the medieval castle, he would hold both our hands whenever there are steps and start to count the steps enthusiastically 'one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight...' and he was so happy. we were surprised by his 'counting' . later when we talk about it, Terry think Daniel is counting and he can count to 8, but I think he was probably just reciting the sequence of numbers, anyway, we are very proud of him.

That's very impressive! Isabel was counting one to four the other day and that surprised me. Daniel is even better!
My mother-in-law always says she loves visiting London because there are so many beautiful buildings there and you can see history in these buildings. I can understand... Just look at that castle. We don't have such thing in Australia at all.
Yeah, people from your part of world come here to see castles, ruins; and people from here go Australia to enjoy sun and sea
